Since it isn’t a legally binging document they will just have to trust each and that’s where the marriage part comes in. My favorite scene had to be when then draw up a marriage contract and it isn’t a legally binding document- it’s just for them to navigate their marriage and differences and what small stuff they comprise on like lace and dogs - no silent treatment He says his heart is frozen and offers the fmc everything except for love because he thinks he isn’t capable of it. Plot - fmc is in her second season in London society and looking for husband since her sister got married, mmc falls in love at first sight, wants to marry her on the spot Mmc is very mechanical and literal a bit of a Sheldon copper but most definitely not as annoying and he’s far nicer than he thinks he his. Mmc is madly in love with fmc and willing to indulge her in almost everything ( he made me swoon a bit - rather difficult task I tend to roll my eyes at rich mmc and throwing of money ) I actually quite liked the fmc( kind without being annoying) Pretty realistic yet romantic portrayal of love Love at first sight ( but it gets better )
I’m in a reading slump and this was incredible. Ohhh where do I start ? I absolutely loved this books - it was perfect for me.
